A couple of weeks ago I blogged that we would be having an Open House & Grand Opening once we had everything ready.  Well, we’ve finally settled on a date…Thursday March 19, 2009…it will be a combination of celebrating the new studio opening and my birthday! 

The open house will be an all day event, so plan on  stopping by, have some refreshments (we promise to have something YUMMY!!), register for our door prizes and just visit when you get a chance.  The party will continue thoughout the next week as we’ll be drawing daily for the door prizes, offering some special booking bonuses for 2009 seniors AND then we have our Spring Garden Quicktake special scheduled for the following Tuesday, March 24th.   

2010 Seniors…We’ll also have applications available for our FACES 2010 program so be sure to come by and get one.  We will be selecting our 2010 senior models in the coming weeks so we can begin their model sessions.

The Spillers had their family session recently.  It was a pretty day with some good-looking models…what more can a photographer ask for, right?  Andrea, Andy & Hannah… congratulations on winning the gift certificate for Diboll Day and thanks for giving us the opportunity to work with y’all! 

‘Tis the season for families!!  Chuck, Lisa, and their twins Ellie & Eule went out with me a couple of weeks ago for a family session when I needed a few sample images.   I met Lisa several years ago when I worked at the school and simply love her personality…little bit of sugar and a whole lotta spice…she cracks me up.  They’re such a sweet family and Ellie & Eule are too cute.  Chuck, Lisa…had a great time!  Thanks for coming out for the session and hope you like them.  (Luvya chicky!!)

Here’s a quick glimpse at the Karber’s family session.  A cold front came through right as we arrived to do the outdoor portion…very cold & very windy.   Soon Annie & Alison were shivering…So we snapped a few quick images, then headed inside so the girls could warm up.  This precious family is expecting a new addition in the coming weeks.  Lauren & Kenny came back in this weekend to do their maternity session.  I’ll be posting a few from that session soon.

Isn’t Hunter & his tux just the cutest!  But this cute little man was the busiest thing I’ve ever seen…he kept me on my toes!  Hunter & his mom, Jordan came in for our Christmas special late November and had alot of fun while he was here.  Hunter was curious about everything and enjoyed redecorating the tree but he really lit up when he spotted the old suitcases I had left out from another session.  His mom said he’s a climber!  He jumped up on one and started tapping away and we got some adorable candids, including the belly shot below which is one of my favorites.

Little Ray & Crystal stopped in yesterday for a little bit of cowboy fun!  He is such a cutie and once he finished ‘investigating’ the studio and all the props…haha…we were able to get some precious images.  Crystal, thanks for hanging in there and for bringing Little Ray by.  Hope you like them.

Oh, and if your little cowboy or cowgirl would like to visit our barn set, give us a call.  We’ll be offering this session as a Quicktake special in January.

Heather & Cindy brought Hayden back in today for his first Christmas portraits.  You’ll remember him from a few months ago when he was just 2 months old.  He’s grown so much and is trying to do everything!   Heather & his grandmother, Cindy found him two of the cutest outfits…I love his reindeer sweater.  Hayden’s the cutest little charmer.  Thanks so much for bringing him by today!
