Let them eat CAKE!  LOL  Sydney is my kinda girl.  We put the cake in front of her and didn’t have to tell her twice to try it.   I love the image where she first squishes into the icing…

Sydney & mom, Hadley came in for her onesie session and I’m so glad she did.  She’ll be turning one in the next week.  Isn’t she just a doll?   

A.J. came in as a model for one of our onesie sessions and he was one BUSY little man!  With Dad who coaches, you know he’s going to be into sports so I knew we had to do a sports collage.  Then he stole my heart with the picture below, playing peekaboo through the chair.  Then came his cake session…and he just wasn’t too sure about all that icing!

Here’s a quick few from Megan’s session with her little guys…

Alexis, her mom Jennifer and I went out on a gorgeous day.  Alexis is such a cutie and was really sweet…as we ended the session, she insisted that we could do more pictures!  

Going back through the images, I thought, what pure joy to be that age and that carefree!   To take such delight in the simple things…enjoying the sunshine, dancing through a field of flowers and just leaping with happiness.

Logan and Kristin came in for a few “mommy & me” images.  A few months earlier, I photographed a senior session for Kristin’s sister, Shelby and I was happy to get a few images for Kristin to send to her military hubby.  Here’s a sneak peek…

A few months ago, Sarah started talking about “Chad & Melissa” this and “Chad & Melissa” that and how ‘awesome’ they are.  And every so often she’d mention these three cute boys, Brandt, Brody & Braden.  Jeff and I really wanted to meet them after hearing so much about them so I was really excited when Melissa stopped by one day and asked me to do a family session for her.  Sarah just grinned and said, “Wait til you meet The Boys!”

If you see a little twinkle of mischief in these 3 pairs of blue eyes, it’s because there is just a little bit in these boys!!  And after meeting Melissa & Chad, I’m pretty sure I know where they get it…Melissa!!  LOL  But there is a whole lotta charm in these boys as well. 

Jeff and I had a great time and I hope all of you had fun too.  Melissa & Chad…so glad to finally meet you and hope we get to visit with y’all again soon!  (and Sarah is right, y’all ARE awesome!!)

A few weeks ago, Chesney came by with her mom, Kourtney to have her first portraits taken.  She’s just a little bitty thing but so sweet…a little rascally too since she never fully went to sleep for us.  But we still got some cute keepers.  Here’s a sneak peek at her session.  Thanks for bringing Chesney in and being so patient, Kourtney!

Here is a quick sneak peek at Bridgette’s maternity session before I get back to editing.  Bridgette and her mom were so fun and they are so excited for Carson to get here!   He is going to be a much-loved little boy.

These are just a few of my favorites from the session.  Love the first image…the puppy is little Miss Whiskey and she is a doll…wanted to take her home with me.  The gorgeous horse is “Baby Girl” and I’m still not sure she liked me taking her picture…LOL.   It was a beautiful day and an amazing place to be.
