Jeff and I have had the best time getting to know Casey & Jody and their daughter Kenley.   Laid-back, down to earth and love to have fun!  Here are a few favorites from their engagement session we had earlier this spring.   Casey asked for the haybale shot below and I love-love-love the way it turned out.   (Jeff and I really do like to hear ideas our clients have for images and create together, with our couples, images to remember this exciting time in their lives.)

Meet Kristie & Brian…and their fur-kid, Winston!  Kristie was the winner of the engagement session given away at the Bridal Market this past January.  When we were setting the date for the session and Kristie asked if they could bring their pug, I knew we’d have a chance for some fun images.  Kristie and Brian, y’all were great, Winston was a ham!! and it was a pleasure to meet all of you! 

Kristie & Brian will be getting married in June and we wish them all the best! 

I had the pleasure of photographing an engagement session for Carey & Russ.  They will be tying the knot later this summer and I can’t wait to see what they have planned for the wedding.  They are both super-funny and I loved watching them interact.  Russ was a tease and kept Carey laughing for me…then in the image right before the one taken above, Carey turned the tables on him…but we’ll keep what she did our little secret!  haha…  But they are so crazy about each other.  It’s just there in the way they look at each other. 

Carey & Russ…thanks for a great time…even if we did freeze!  I feel truly blessed to be able to share this time with y’all.  Here’s a sneak peek until I can get the rest of your session proofed for ya.

A couple of weeks ago I blogged that we would be having an Open House & Grand Opening once we had everything ready.  Well, we’ve finally settled on a date…Thursday March 19, 2009…it will be a combination of celebrating the new studio opening and my birthday! 

The open house will be an all day event, so plan on  stopping by, have some refreshments (we promise to have something YUMMY!!), register for our door prizes and just visit when you get a chance.  The party will continue thoughout the next week as we’ll be drawing daily for the door prizes, offering some special booking bonuses for 2009 seniors AND then we have our Spring Garden Quicktake special scheduled for the following Tuesday, March 24th.   

2010 Seniors…We’ll also have applications available for our FACES 2010 program so be sure to come by and get one.  We will be selecting our 2010 senior models in the coming weeks so we can begin their model sessions.

This session was a blast!  Rachel & Chris are so cute and so cute together!  Rachel will have her hands full…’cause Chris is a mess!  LOL!  He had us cracking up the entire time. 

Guys, we had a great time with both of you.  Rachel, looking forward to working with you on your bridals and we can’t wait to see y’all in March for the wedding.

…and a big WELCOME to all the brides (and grooms) we met at the Bridal Market this afternoon.  Sarah & I had a fantastic time getting to chat with everyone who came through at Behannon’s.   We received alot of positive feedback from everyone and got a great response to the work we had with us.  That was such a blessing and truly humbling! And a very special thank you to Mark Hicks, Todd Stracener, Amanda and the rest of the crew at the Main Event / The Lodge / Behannon’s for inviting us to the show.  It was a great experience and so good to see all of you again.

Damaris & Daniel braved the heat with me Friday morning for their engagement shoot but I’m so glad they did because they had a fabulous session!  They were alot of fun and let me try some new techniques.   They are planning a July wedding and we can’t wait to work with them on Damaris’ bridal session and their wedding.  We’ve got a few shots already in the works with them to go along with a new product we’ll be offering, ‘Picture Us’ wall art.  Here’s just a sampling of my favorites.  Enjoy!
