July 27th:  Latest news from Celeste:  “GREAT NEWS!! I just got a call from the oncologist’s nurse about Mickey’s MRI results from yesterday. The radiologist said his cancer has not grown and there is no change from the MRI of June 16th. This is great news because Mickey’s cancer is very agressive and should have grown a lot. The nurse said to me, “This is very good news Celeste!” I AGREE. Looks like the alternative medicine, with prayers, is working!”

Thank you to everyone who has been praying for the Suttles!!  I know this news is such a blessing for them.  Please continue to pray…

Just an “FYI”…Update!! Office closed October 18th to 25th.

Filed under Personal • Written by Allison @ 2:43 pm

~~~ UPDATE Monday 2:30~~~  I will be working part time this week at the studio (week of 12th to the 18th) and office will be closed 18th to 25th.  I will keep this post at the top of the page over the next few weeks and update it as I know more.
If you need to reach me over the next week or so, email to infoahp@gmail.com will probably be the fastest way to get me.  If you do try to call the studio over the next few weeks, please leave a message and I will get back with you as soon as possible.
We recently…in the last 2 weeks… found out that our son, Josh has “Chiari Malformation”.  Basically part of his brain extends past his skull into the spinal canal.  This creates a buildup of spinal fluid & pressure and brings on headaches, neck pain and was causing a cyst to develop in his spinal cord…there were some nerve problems and if left untreated, would cause major nerve damage.  Josh has  decided to go in for surgery to correct the problem.
UPDATE  Josh’s surgery has been postponed until week of 18th to 25th.   He had been scheduled for Tuesday the 13th, but because he had taken ibuprofen recently for his headaches and it can cause complications with the surgery he’ll have to wait another 5 to 7 days.  So we’ll be going in for surgery sometime next week.   He’ll be in the hospital for anywhere from 4 to 7 days after the surgery then another 4 to 6 weeks to recover.
I will be in and out of the studio from the 12th to the 18th, helping Josh get a few things taken care of before the surgery.  Then the studio will be closed 18th to 25th while we are at the hospital with him.
I am currently calling those of you with sessions scheduled to reschedule as needed.  For those of you who are expecting picture orders, most of those orders will be here before the 18th and I will call or email you to schedule a time for pick-up.
If you have had a session recently, I will be proofing images this week and scheduling viewing appointments as possible.
If you have any questions or need to reach me, please email infoahp@gmail.com or leave a message at 936-829-0247 as I will be checking messages often.
Thanks so much for your patience at this time!  Also, thank you for all the prayers and well-wishes that have been sent!!
Allison & Jeff Hearne
Studio will be closed Tues. & Wed.
This past Sunday I strained my lower back and am currently unable to do sessions or sit at the computer for extended periods of time.  Other than resting and meds, I’m not able to do much right now   ;-(  .  My appointments for Monday & Tuesday have been rescheduled…Thanks to everyone for being understanding!  I’m hoping with another day of resting my back, I can get back to my normal routine by Wednesday afternoon.
If you need to reach me, please leave a message at 829-0247 or email infoahp@gmail.com  I’ll be checking those from home.
Thanks!
A couple of weeks ago I blogged that we would be having an Open House & Grand Opening once we had everything ready.  Well, we’ve finally settled on a date…Thursday March 19, 2009…it will be a combination of celebrating the new studio opening and my birthday!
The open house will be an all day event, so plan on  stopping by, have some refreshments (we promise to have something YUMMY!!), register for our door prizes and just visit when you get a chance.  The party will continue thoughout the next week as we’ll be drawing daily for the door prizes, offering some special booking bonuses for 2009 seniors AND then we have our Spring Garden Quicktake special scheduled for the following Tuesday, March 24th.
2010 Seniors…We’ll also have applications available for our FACES 2010 program so be sure to come by and get one.  We will be selecting our 2010 senior models in the coming weeks so we can begin their model sessions.
We’re easy to find…201 N. Temple Drive, on Hwy 59 between Curves Gym and Temple Credit Union.   936-829-0AHP   (936-829-0247).
The Fairy Ring…the fantasy project
The Fairy Ring poster
While we were shooting Jesika’s session, I spotted a  circle of wild mushrooms…a “fairy ring” as my mother used to call them.  The spot was perfect for a fantasy project I’d been wanting to try.  Jesika had this cute white sundress that I knew would work perfectly for what I had in mind…so I asked her to pose in the midst of the circle.   I then took the image, meshed reality with fantasy…..”The Fairy Ring” was the result.
Let me know what you think of “The Fairy Ring”.  And if you would be interested in working with us to create your own Fantasy work of art, please email me at allison@allisonhearne.com
Erin & Casey…my nieces
Erin and Casey were in from Burleson for a visit this past week and we were able to get started on Erin’s senior portraits.   I can’t believe Erin is already a senior and how tall Casey has grown!  They are a hoot to be around…always smiling and giggling.  Here’s a few fun ones we shot of Erin and Casey together between clothing and background changes.
Sadie Mae…
Filed under Personal • Written by Allison @ 12:48 pm
This morning I was working…or trying to work but Sar’s puppy, little Miss Sadie Mae, likes to play first thing in the morning and she brought over her favorite new toy to throw.  After tossing it for her a few times, I went back to work.  And she just sits there, watching me with the toy hanging in her mouth… then she drops the toy & brings out ‘the look’.  Anyone who has ever had kids knows this melt-your-heart look…and Sadie is smart enough to know just how cute she can be when she wants to be.  How could I resist, right?  But first I grabbed my camera & caught this shot before she turned back into her regular mischievious self.
Now back to work…
Sar’s day off…
This afternoon, my daughter Sarah & I went out to just shoot for fun since she had the day off and it had been a looonggg time since we’d been able to have a girls day away.  She also wanted to help me with images for the website…we always joke that she’s my favorite model for my marketing materials since I KNOW I can get a model release from her parents!! LOL.
So she packed up a few outfits, I snagged the camera and away we went.   Thanks for looking and feel free to leave comments on any of the posts!
