Ashley H…Group 2 candidate

Filed under Uncategorized • Written by Allison Hearne @ 1:38 pm

Representing Group 2 is Ashley Hines.   Ashley is a senior at DHS and is very involved in both school and the community including National Honor Society, Student Council and Diboll’s Youth basketball league.   We managed to squeeze in a quick session early Saturday morning once the power returned.  I asked Ashley what she had planned for the rest of the day and she told me she was headed for the kid’s bingo, then the football game and back that evening for the sportsman bingo.  (To see what else Group 2 is offering, check out www.dibollday.org )

Right as we were finishing up the session, we got one last image.  I loved it as soon as I saw it, so this morning I played with it a bit to see how it would look as a poster.  Hope you like it, Ashley and best of luck to you & Group 2!

Ashley W…Group 1 candidate

This year I had the honor of photographing the 2008 Diboll Day candidates.  Diboll Day is more than just a day of celebrating and homecoming.  It’s a month long flurry of fun and fund raising activities to benefit the Diboll Booster Club which in turn sponsors many of the projects around the community.  I’m late getting these online for these ladies and I do apologize…but because of Hurricane Ike, and all that followed, the delay was unavoidable.  The hurricane also effected many of the Diboll Day plans but they are now back in full swing, so check the calendar at www.dibollday.org   Come out and eat, have a good time and get in on the games & prizes.  It’s for a great cause!

Working hard for Group 1 is Ashley Wilson.   Ashley is a junior at DHS and an All-American cheerleader on the varsity squad.   She’s a terrific young lady and if you see her around town, tell her what a great job she’s doing…and buy a raffle ticket!

Week of Sept. 15-19

Due to Hurricane Ike, we will be temporarily closed.  Most of my family still lives in the Port Arthur / Golden Triangle area and while they sustained only minor damage (Thank God!), they stayed with Jeff & I during the mandatory evacuation and will be remaining here several weeks until the area receives notice to return.  We lost power during the storm and remain without power as of 8 pm Tuesday.  We have a generator so we are able to get by but I don’t have enough power for the studio lights.  I have been unable to check email or receive calls since the storm as well, so if you haven’t received a reply, please know I will be taking care of that later this week.  Thanks so much for your patience!

If you have any questions, please call me at 936-829-2764.

Ashley…09 spokesmodel

Two of our Hudson spokesmodels, Ashley & Sky were here awhile back for their studio session and I realized I hadn’t blogged some of their images.  So here is a few of my favorites from Ashley’s session and I’ll post a few from Sky’s tomorrow.  These two ladies were SOOOO much fun and I’m so glad they came in.  Ashley is part of Hudson’s cross country team and we wanted to put together a sports image with her CC shirt and shoes.

Sorry for the delay and hope you enjoy them.

Quick update & note of thanks!

Filed under Uncategorized • Written by Allison Hearne @ 3:43 pm

I wanted to briefly update everyone on the status of orders, proofs, quotes, etc…we are behind in getting everything out and emails answered but we’re working on it!

Because my hometown of Port Arthur was under mandatory evacuation this past weekend for Hurricane Gustav, we had a house-F-U-L-L of family and several accompanying 4 legged-furry friends.  We spent the early part of the weekend getting ready for their arrival and the past few days recovering from the departure.  As if threat of a hurricane wasn’t enough,  we also battled a clogged kitchen sink, freaky phone lines & a downed computer & internet connection since then.  Thank God the storm skirted our area and theirs.  Our thoughts & prayers are with those areas to our north & east that were hit by the storm and wish them a speedy cleanup & recovery.

Thanks to the many friends who offered beds and help.  And thanks so much for your patience and understanding as we start to get everything back to normal.

Jeff & Allison
