Earlier this month, Jeff & I headed to Burleson to do a senior session with our niece, Erin.  Royce, Deb, Erin & Casey all had scouted some great locations for us to shoot in and we were so excited about going out and getting some great images of Erin and her cute, red Mustang.   Theeeennnnn the cold front hit the Dallas / Fort Worth area (BRRR!!)  along with these huge wind gusts whipping through downtown FW (super-BRRRR!!)…we all nearly froze!!  But together, we were able to get some cool images and had a great time. 

After a quick break, lots of laughs and supper at the Fajita House (which has the absolute BEST shrimp fajitas!!), we headed back out to try to shoot a few night shots with the FW skyline.  We managed a couple but the cold got the better of us. 

Erin, here’s a few from the day…hope you’ve thawed out by now LOL…and that you like them!!  We’ll definitely do this again when I’m up there in May.  Royce & Casey…great location hunting!! Deb, you did a FAB-ulous job and can be my reflector-girl anytiime!!

Shay & Cody brought this young man to me last month at little more than a week old.  They were so nice and Cash is a sweetheart.  He’s  just adorable in his camo!  We even managed to catch one of his yawns!! haha!  We kept his images under wraps since some of them would be Christmas presents but I can share them now.  Cody & Shay…thanks for bringing Cash in and I imagine he’s grown so much since I saw him.  Can’t wait to see him again.

Since Danae had to reschedule the outdoor part of her session, I asked her if she wanted to go with me out to the old Sawmill since I hadn’t been there in over a year.  So we hopped in the car with two of her cousins, took a drive while they told me wild & crazy growing up stories (y’all are too funny!)…took a detour…then another detour (hahahaa!!), several photo-op-stops along the way and then we finally made it out to the mill.  It was a gorgeous day and I had a great time with you three girls!!  Hope y’all had fun and that you like your images, Danae.  Wishing you the brightest future, girlie…you deserve it!

Danae came in last month to get started on her senior session with sister, Danielle.  It was on probably one of the coldest days we’ve had…I think it was in the low 30’s that morning…  so that day we managed to get all the studio stuff done.  We ventured out to do the outdoor stuff and after a few shots (including the shot above), we decided to reschedule the outside stuff for another day.  So I’ll be posting her session in two blog posts.  Danae is a Diboll senior and plans to go into nursing…which I know she’ll do well in.  She’s got a great heart!   You’ve also seen her in the recent prom post.

Please join us for the first ever “Prom Spectacular”…a prom show featuring dresses from Lesa’s Bridals & Formals, prom jewelry from Miss McGillicuddy’s Salon & Boutique, senior & prom photography by Allison Hearne Photography, prom decorations by A-1 Rentals and several more vendors.  There will be fashion shows every hour and the big runway show will be featured at 3 pm.  The show is this Saturday, January 24th, from noon to 5 pm at the Temple Civic Center in Diboll.

There is a $5 door fee that gets you a sheet of coupons.  If you bring a gently used dress to donate to the Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council’s “Prom Project 2009″, your admission to the show is FREE!   The first 300 guests receive a goody bag.

AHP will be offering special session deals for our 2009 seniors.  AND…we are kicking off our FACES 2010 Search.  So come visit our booth at the show and bring your friends! 

(I can finally post a few of the December sessions now that Christmas has come & gone and it won’t be spoiling any surprises.   It’s been crazy busy since late November…which is great but once again, I’m behind on blogging and proofing.)

Christi, Reagan, Sydney & Kevin came in to get some family portraits done for Christmas gifts.  They did the white on white…which I love!  The girls have grown up so fast and are just precious…and Kevin is such a cutie!  He walked in saying he didn’t want to take pictures and walked out wanting to shoot some more!  We even pulled Christi’s mom in for a few images.  She was surprised when I asked her but I’m so glad she agreed…Loved them!  Enjoyed having y’all come in!! 

Yesy & Joe were in town for a few days around Christmas and I was able to meet them for a session.  They are just so cute and were alot of fun.  When I mentioned I wanted to try a few different images for the bridal show, they were game for anything I wanted to try.  Yesy & Joe, thanks so much for asking me to do these for y’all!  Here’s a sneak peek for now and I’ll get your proof gallery online soon!

…and a big WELCOME to all the brides (and grooms) we met at the Bridal Market this afternoon.  Sarah & I had a fantastic time getting to chat with everyone who came through at Behannon’s.   We received alot of positive feedback from everyone and got a great response to the work we had with us.  That was such a blessing and truly humbling! And a very special thank you to Mark Hicks, Todd Stracener, Amanda and the rest of the crew at the Main Event / The Lodge / Behannon’s for inviting us to the show.  It was a great experience and so good to see all of you again.
