Before I head out of the studio, I thought I’d put up a post for the weekend.  I worked with Coach Knight and the DHS girls baskeball team earlier this year on one of our new “Custom Team Blends”.  The girls were great and alot of fun.    Here is what we came up with for their year!

Steven is another one of the seniors that I’ve known “forever”.  His mom & dad went to school with Jeff and his older brother, Trey went to school with Josh.  It’s so hard to believe he’s a senior!  We were able to get some cool images with his trumpet in studio and his golf clubs and guitar outdoors.  It’s always fun when seniors bring in all the “stuff” they do…it’s a big part of who you are, so why not have it in your portraits!

A few weeks ago, Chesney came by with her mom, Kourtney to have her first portraits taken.  She’s just a little bitty thing but so sweet…a little rascally too since she never fully went to sleep for us.  But we still got some cute keepers.  Here’s a sneak peek at her session.  Thanks for bringing Chesney in and being so patient, Kourtney!

Here is a quick sneak peek at Bridgette’s maternity session before I get back to editing.  Bridgette and her mom were so fun and they are so excited for Carson to get here!   He is going to be a much-loved little boy.

These are just a few of my favorites from the session.  Love the first image…the puppy is little Miss Whiskey and she is a doll…wanted to take her home with me.  The gorgeous horse is “Baby Girl” and I’m still not sure she liked me taking her picture…LOL.   It was a beautiful day and an amazing place to be.

Had a wonderful time a couple of weeks ago with the beautiful Miss Hannah!!  She is just a sweetheart and I had a blast with her that day.

The studio will be closed the week of Feb. 8th – 16th due to a death in the family.   I will be posting updates here on the blog and checking emails & voice messages while I am out of town.  Thank you for your patience.

After a lengthy illness, my daddy, Kenneth Ballard passed away early this morning.  We know that he is in a better place now, & is at peace.  Funeral arrangements are pending, so I will be closing the studio for a week or so to take care of family.  Thank you all for your support & prayers.

All sports orders have been placed and as they arrive, Jeff will arrange pick up & delivery times.  Appointments for the next few weeks are being rescheduled.  This past year, Life has been a roller-coaster ride of some of the most extreme highs & lows I’ve ever had to deal with and I thank all of you for the many kind words, prayers and stories that you have shared with me through it all.   Will update as I know more.
