The Suttles…Updated July 27

July 27th: Latest news from Celeste: “GREAT NEWS!! I just got a call from the oncologist’s nurse about Mickey’s MRI results from yesterday. The radiologist said his cancer has not grown and there is no change from the MRI of June 16th. This is great news because Mickey’s cancer is very agressive and should have grown a lot. The nurse said to me, “This is very good news Celeste!” I AGREE. Looks like the alternative medicine, with prayers, is working!”
Thank you to everyone who has been praying for the Suttles!! I know this news is such a blessing for them. Please continue to pray…
June 24th: This is the most recent update from Celeste, “The final diagnosis is Glioblastoma Multiforming, Grade 4. This is the worst brain cancer there is. With conventional treatment life expectancy is only a year, without treatment 9 months. Mickey and I have chosen not to do conventional treatment but rather to use alternative treatment. The alternative treatment has a… much better success rate without the side effects of conventional treatment.”
Please continue to pray…
June 14th: On a personal note…I have a very special prayer request.
Back in 2006, a good friend introduced me to the Suttles and their photography business, Something Extra Photos. When Jeff & I went to Mickey and Celeste’s home/studio the first time, I thought they were going to teach me how to become a better photographer and get my business started. And they have done just that…I would not be where I am now if not for their help and advice. They have been wonderful mentors through the years but I am so honored to call them my friends as well. They have also helped me become a better person and their integrity and honesty is something I treasure. More than anything what I love about the Suttles is they are exactly what they seem…honest, hard-working, God-loving people who genuinely care about the people surrounding them.
Celeste phoned me Monday to see if I could cover a few events for them…this weekend, the doctors found several masses in Mickey’s brain. They will be doing a biopsy Thursday afternoon. I ask that you keep this very special couple and their family blanketed in prayer for healing, strength, comfort and peace along with a good report.
Our God is a miracle-working God.
